Surrey Park Swimming is seeking an experienced and passionate Strength and Conditioning Coach to support our coaching team, inspire our swimmers, and build on our proud legacy of over 120 years as one of Victoria's premier swim clubs.

Reporting to the Head Coach, and working alongside and under the guidance of our Senior Strength and Conditioning Coach (ASCA Level 2 Accredited), this is a casual position of approximately 15 hours per week, delivering gym and dry land programs across five early morning sessions per week, including Saturdays. The role involves assisting with the planning and delivery of both group and individual training plans tailored to squad and swimmer requirements, and collaboration with the coaching team to support swimmer performance and wellbeing.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Strength and Conditioning Coach with a strong understanding of sport science, exercise physiology, and biomechanics, excellent organisational and communication skills, a passion for swimming and the community, and a strong work ethic.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience coaching athletes across a broad range of abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of swimming technique, strokes and training methods
