Belcoma is on the hunt for a dedicated junior coach to join our coaching crew!
We've been delighted by steady growth in player numbers over the last few years - but that welcome growth has left us short on coaches. Our current coaches are doubling up across teams and squad-training to cover the gaps. As we head into Spring Season 2026 and beyond, we have more junior teams coming through and need to share the load.
What we're looking for:
Netball experience as a player or coach (this is an experienced coaching role, however if you are a new coach seeking a supportive club, please reach out and we can look to pair you with one of our current coaches)
Foundation Coaching Accreditation (minimum) or willingness to complete same within first season of coaching with Belcoma
Experience in community/grassroots sport, with a genuine interest in developing junior pathways and players
Availability for Tuesday afternoon training (Belgrave) and Saturday morning games (Ferntree Gully)
A commitment to at least Spring Season 2026 - ideally through to 2027 Winter & Spring
Willingness to mentor an assistant coach (usually one of our older junior players, U15/18, whom we pair with an experienced coach for their first few seasons)
