Description

Melbourne University Netball Club is seeking a passionate and experienced coach to lead our senior netball teams that compete in the Parkville Netball Association. 

The Melbourne University Netball Club is the participiation-focussed program of Melbourne Univesity Lightning, which plays in the Victorian Netball League (VNL).

Key Duties:

  • Deliver game-night coaching  for our Tuesday Premier Open teams (currently in Open 3 and Open 6 competitions)
  • Work with the Club Administrator to identify other club members to fill-in due to player injury or availability as required
  • Deliver team training on a Thursday night (optional)
  • Identify players with the capacity to progress to the Club's VNL pathway teams
  • With the support of the Club Administrator, conduct selection trials for future seasons.

Other Opportunities:

  • Engage with coaches from our VNL program
  • Become involved in the University of Melbourne's intervarsity netball program
  • This role provides a stipend of up to $3,000 per season (or $6,000 annually).
