We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Performance Programs Coordinator to support the delivery of Capital Football's athlete and coach development pathways. This role provides critical administrative, logistical and operational support across performance programs, representative teams and coach development initiatives.
Working closely with the Technical Director, you will play an important role in ensuring pathway programs are delivered professionally and efficiently, while supporting positive experiences for athletes, coaches, clubs and other stakeholders.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Performance Programs Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the administration and logistics of Capital Football's performance pathway programs, including representative team activities, camps, talent development initiatives and coach education programs.
This is a varied and hands-on role that combines program coordination, stakeholder communication, event logistics, reporting and operational support. You will work closely with coaches, athletes, parents, clubs and Football Australia stakeholders to help ensure programs are delivered effectively and in line with organisational priorities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate the administration and logistics of performance pathway programs, representative teams, camps and coach development activities.
- Manage program schedules, registrations, travel, accommodation, venues, uniforms and participant communications.
- Maintain accurate records, databases, reports and program documentation.
- Assist with budgeting, reporting, compliance requirements and operational planning.
- Act as a key administrative point of contact for athletes, parents, coaches, clubs and other stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Full Australian working rights and the ability to obtain an ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card.
- Experience in administration, program coordination or operational support roles.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and experience maintaining records, databases and administrative systems.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
- Experience within sport, recreation or community organisations will be highly regarded, as will an understanding of football pathways and development programs.
