About this Opportunity
A great opportunity has opened up for a Student Sport Inclusion & Pathways Coordinator, where you’ll help shape how students connect through sport. You’ll deliver dynamic social sport and inter-college programs, support student representative sport pathways, and drive initiatives that make participation more accessible and inclusive.
Working closely with another Coordinator and a casual workforce, you’ll create meaningful, engaging experiences in a fast-paced environment from coordinating competitions to mentoring student leaders and supporting new program development.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead the delivery of vibrant social sport competitions and inter-college programs, from planning through to game day
- Coordinate representative sport opportunities, including team administration, coordination and inter-varsity participation
- Recruit, roster and support a dynamic network of casual staff, volunteers and student leaders
- Champion participation by driving initiatives that remove barriers and connect diverse student communities
- Build strong, trusted relationships with colleges, student groups and key stakeholders across the University
- Contribute to the growth of new and exciting sport programs that enhance the student experience
About You
You’re someone who thrives in a people-focused, fast-moving environment and enjoys balancing planning with on-the-ground delivery.
- Experience coordinating sport, recreation or student engagement programs
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Confident supervising and supporting casual staff, volunteers or student teams
- A natural relationship builder who can engage a wide range of stakeholders
- Passion for inclusive sport and creating opportunities for diverse communities
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Qualifications in sport, recreation or a related field (desirable but not essential)
