St Aidan’s Anglican Girls’ School is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Strength and Conditioning Coach to support the physical development, performance and wellbeing of our students across a range of sports programs.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-performing sporting environment, working collaboratively with other coaches, teaching staff and students to deliver safe, effective and engaging strength and conditioning programs.

The Role

In this casual role, you will:

  • Design and deliver age-appropriate strength and conditioning programs for students
  • Support individual and team athletic development across varying ability levels
  • Promote injury prevention, safe training practices and correct technique
  • Collaborate with staff to align programs with training and competition schedules
  • Motivate and engage students in developing lifelong fitness habits

The gym operates before and after school, during some lunch breaks, and throughout school holidays, with a range of casual shifts available.

ABOUT YOU

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in strength and conditioning coaching (school or youth setting highly regarded)
  • Minimum Level 1 Australian Strength & Conditioning Association (ASCA) qualification
  • Strong knowledge of strength and conditioning principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students
  • Proficiency in using fitness assessment tools and software (desirable)
  • An ability to hold a Working with Children - Paid Blue Card as issued by the Queensland Government
  • Ability to obtain a First Aid / CPR Certificate.
