About the role
This casual role supports the delivery of physiotherapy services across NSWIS sport programs.
You will work alongside our Performance Health team to provide clinical support in daily training environments, competitions and periods of high demand (e.g. camps, travel, leave coverage).
The role offers exposure to high performance sport in a flexible capacity, with opportunities to contribute to:
- Injury management and rehabilitation
- Athlete screening and monitoring
- Competition and camp coverage
- Support of multidisciplinary performance teams
This role is suited to experienced practitioners seeking flexible engagement, as well as physiotherapists looking to build experience in high performance sport environments.
Employment is on a casual, as needed basis.
This is position requiring a Working with Children Check.

About you
You are a capable and adaptable physiotherapist who can contribute effectively within a team environment. You bring a practical approach to clinical care and are comfortable working in dynamic settings.
You:
- Deliver safe and effective physiotherapy services
- Communicate clearly with athletes and staff
- Work well within a multidisciplinary team
- Are reliable and professional in your approach
You will have
- Experience in physiotherapy practice (sports experience desirable)
- Exposure to high performance sport environments
- Ability to manage straightforward injury presentations and support rehabilitation plans
- Willingness to learn and contribute within a team setting
- Strong communication and organisation skills
Essential Requirements
- Degree in Physiotherapy
- Master’s or APA titling (Sports & Exercise or Musculoskeletal)
- AHPRA registration
- First Aid and CPR
- Driver’s licence
- Working with Children Check or be willing to obtain this prior to working with us.
