Description

Help deliver two of Queensland’s premier junior football events on the Sunshine Coast.

Football Queensland is looking for enthusiastic and reliable event staff to support the delivery of the 2026 FQ Junior Cup and WinterFest26, proudly delivered alongside Sunshine Coast Council and Visit Sunshine Coast.

Taking place at University of the Sunshine Coast and Sunshine Coast Wanderers Football Club, these events will welcome thousands of players and families from across the state for an exciting week of football.

Event Overview

2026 FQ Junior Cup

  • 28–30 June 2026
  • U12 Boys & U12 Girls

A competitive three-day tournament featuring teams from regional Queensland and South East Queensland.

WinterFest26

  • 1–5 July 2026
  • U9–U11 Boys & Girls

Queensland’s largest junior football carnival with more than 2,000 participants expected across the week.

The Role

You’ll be part of the operational team helping bring the events to life, including:

  • Supporting day-to-day venue operations
  • Assisting with team movements and match logistics
  • Helping maintain a safe and welcoming environment
  • Working alongside event staff, referees and stakeholders
  • Assisting with setup, pack down and general event support

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Available across event dates, including weekdays and weekends
  • This is a hands-on, on-site role with active duties throughout the day
  • Applicants are responsible for organising their own transport and accommodation (accommodation is not provided)
  • Blue Card and Police Check required (or willingness to obtain)
