Waves Fitness and Aquatic Centre, located in the Hills Shire Council area, is looking for enthusiastic and energetic Swim Instructors to maintain daily pool operations, water safety management, and provide a safe and enjoyable environment for customers through supervision. Our award-winning complex includes a 10-lane 50m outdoor Olympic-sized pool, additional 25m outdoor pool and two indoor learn to swim and leisure pools, along with a water play area

What does this role look like:
- Plan, organise, and conduct swim lessons.
- Facilitate the skill development of swimmers with a range of skill levels to achieve outcomes.
- Monitor student progression of swimmers & inform Team Leader of their ability for progression.
What are we seeking:
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Holds valid First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009)
- Working with Children’s Check (WWC)
- Relevant Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification or Swim Coaching qualification

A salary of $37.09 per hour (including casual loading and excluding superannuation) and weekend penalty rates, paid weekly. Junior casual rates applicable for under 19 years of age.
