About the role:
As a lifeguard at State Sports centres, you will be at the front line of our Aquatic facilities. Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring a safe environment for all facility users through pool supervision, rule enforcement, providing First Aid and educating aquatic users.
We currently have multiple Permanent, Part-Time Lifeguard positions available.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Committed to high-quality customer service
- Experience in a service role
- Ability to work in a team environment with strong interpersonal skills, including resolving minor issues with patrons or staff.
Required skills and Qualifications:
- SISSS00133 Pool Lifeguard
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
- Current Working with Children’s Check (Employee)
- Ability to perform a Deep-Water depth test to 5m
- Current CPR
- Australian working rights.
