The role
This is a role for a passionate and skilled coach who thrives on developing potential. You will deliver high-quality coaching and mentoring, creating an engaging and structured environment where athletes can progress and perform at their best. Your ability to connect with students, foster a positive team culture, and drive consistent standards will be central to your success in this position.
Beyond coaching, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the program through the oversight of boatshed and fleet management. Ensuring equipment, logistics, and facilities are maintained to an exceptional standard, you will contribute to a seamless and high-quality rowing environment that reflects the excellence of Pymble Ladies’ College.

- Willingness to support and promote the ethos and values of the College.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with, and motivate, young people.
- Proven track record in coaching school-level rowing programs with a performance and development mindset.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and committed to continuous improvement.
- Light Rigid (LR) driver’s licence, or willingness to obtain.
- Competence in basic to intermediate boat repairs, or willingness to develop these skills.
- Demonstrate ability to tow trailers confidently and safely, or willingness to learn.
- Proven capabilities in operating speedboats safely and responsibly desirable.
