About the role
Reporting to the Membership & Ticketing Operations Manager, this role manages the operational elements of the Membership and Ticketing departments. You will ensure membership renewal operations and database updates are delivered on time, ticketing requirements are met, staff are effectively trained on system changes, and member fulfilment programs and events are executed to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Membership & Ticketing Operations Manager with day-to-day membership operations and processes, ensuring accountability and achievement of KPIs
- Coordinate the Reserved Seat Changeover process
- Manage weekly card and fulfilment file submissions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Assist with the Hawks Future Flyers program, including bulk uploads and processing
- Support the delivery of membership operational communications
- Assist with the build and execution of membership renewal operations
- Provide internal ticketing fulfilment support for AFL and AFLW matches
- Liaise with interstate clubs to confirm ticketing requirements for interstate games and UTAS matches
- Support the wider membership team on match days across both AFL and AFLW
Please note that this role does require attendance at games, across evenings, weekends with some interstate travel.

We’re looking for a creative and dynamic individual with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. You will be confident in stakeholder management and capable of diffusing challenging situations with professionalism and tact. A natural leader, you bring a proactive approach and the ability to guide and influence others in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll Bring:
- Tertiary qualification in Business Management, Sports Management or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in similar operations role, preferably within sport
- Experience in ticketing operations for large scale events
- Experience in a customer service role as well as with a customer database system
- Strong computer literacy and strong Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with minimal supervision
- Current Working With Children’s Check and Police Check
