The Daily Performance Environment (DPE) Operations Lead is responsible for the operational execution of the annual camps and competitions investment process for categorised athletes and coaches from planning to completion, including continuous improvement strategies for the Olympic and Paralympic programs. Based in our Brisbane office, to be considered for this role you will have demonstrated High Performance sport experience in planning, budgeting and the delivery of Camps and Competitions, ensuring alignment with high-performance objectives and a seamless athlete and coach experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee end-to-end operational execution of camps and comps activity for nominated Olympic and Paralympic performance programs - booking flights, accommodation, transportation, pools, gym for camps/ competitions.
  • Work closely with Performance Program coaches and GM Performance Support to align camp and competition operational needs with athlete performance goals.
  • Manage all finance processes for Performance programs, Camps and Comps, athlete invoices and training fees (non categorisation and Internationals).
  • Lead the on-track process in consultation with High Performance Unit (HPU) Senior Management Group (SMG), ensuring structured monitoring, action follow ups, with expansion into AI and dashboarding iteration opportunities.
  • Develop and share the annual Camps and Competitions calendar (Olympic & Paralympic), ensuring visibility, accuracy and accessibility for HPU staff.

What You Bring

  • A minimum of 3 years experience working with Olympic or Paralympic and/or international teams or equivalent.
  • Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in  High Performance sports administration, event management or equivalent.
  • Experience managing complex programs, events and logistics that involve both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience and skilled in developing strong relationships; influencing and motivating staff and key stakeholders.
  • A growth mindset, always looking for better ways to deliver impact.
