About the Role
Volleyball Queensland is currently hiring a motivated and passionate individual to work within our Memberships Team, as you will be the first point of contact for all of our member support. This is a full-time role ideal for someone with great attention to detail, customer service skills, administrative skills, and a warm, helpful communication style.
You’ll be:
- Handling new member registrations, renewals, transfers, and upgrades
- Assisting across the team with various administrative duties if necessary.
- Responding to member queries via phone and email
- Answering all incoming phone calls
- General administrative & operational duties
- Assist cross functionally across multiple departments with administrative duties where needed (Printing, filing, emailing, membership queries etc.)
- Updating membership records and reconciling data
- Assisting with reporting, cross-checking, and database maintenance
- Supporting the Memberships Officer and Member Engagement & Business Operations Manager with administrative tasks.
- Providing Executive Support to the CEO
- Reporting to the Membership officer & Member Engagement & Business Operations Manager
What You Bring:
- Administrative or membership experience (sport environment is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage time and adapt to shifting priorities
- Customer Services experience
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office and web-based systems
