ABOUT THE ROLE
Barker College is seeking to appoint a motivated and passionate tennis coach to work across the thriving programs with over 300 Barker students from Kindergarten to Year 12. The right candidates will be offered up to 25 hours per week during the school term. Programs include Hotshots, private lessons, squad coaching, secondary school programs, and Saturday competition team coaching.
The successful applicant will have the following personal attributes and experience:
- Engaging and enthusiastic coaching style with strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with different levels of abilities across various age groups.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective training sessions.
- Morning training sessions run from 6.30am to 8.30am and afternoon from 3:00pm to 6:30pm. Saturday matches can be anytime from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Saturday competitions are run in both Summer and Winter. Tennis camps are held in the first week of all School holidays.
- Proven coaching experience/qualifications or tournament experience.
