About the Role:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Operations Coordinator to join our Melbourne team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone starting their career in events and keen to learn from an experienced team. You’ll play a key role in supporting the planning and delivery of our world-class events.
This role involves travel within Australia & New Zealand with weekend work during event periods.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with event logistics and supplier coordination (e.g. fencing, marquees, waste services).
- Help organise event vehicle bookings.
- Prepare and maintain event documents such as signage plans and venue manuals.
- Support the team during event setup and pack-down at start lines, finish lines, aid stations, and expo areas.
- Contribute to meetings and briefings on event operations.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe event environment.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- A valid driver’s licence.
- Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and First Aid/CPR certification
- Right to work in Australia.
Nice to Have (but not essential):
- Previous experience in events or volunteering at sporting events.
- Relevant tertiary qualification or studies in Event Management.
- Forklift or scooter licence.
