MUBC is seeking an experienced and dedicated Head Coach High Performance to implement and lead the MUBC High Performance Rowing Program and provide guidance and mentoring to the coaching team.

The club is supported by the University of Melbourne and Melbourne Uni Sport and is governed by the MUBC committee with operational management from the General Manager.

The MUBC Head Coach High Performance is responsible for:

• leading the MUBC High Performance Rowing Program,
• fostering a professional sporting environment, and
• developing and leading the MUBC-based Daily Performance Environment (DPE) for National Performance Pathway Program (NPPP) athletes in their role as Performance Pathway Head Coach.

The person is responsible for ensuring the program is aligned to both MUBC’s strategic goals and the NPPP Program objectives.

The successful applicant will have an excellent knowledge of current technical and training models, proven success in leading teams, the ability to guide other coaches, an ability to recruit quality athletes and an ability to work alongside a variety of rowing cohorts to produce a harmonious yet professional club environment. They will also have a solid understanding of club rowing environments and University Boat Clubs and their requirements and develop a proactive relationship with the University.
