We're looking for a fun, dedicated, and passionate Membership & Ticketing Lead to join our Champion Team. 

In this role, you’ll help grow our membership, ticket sales, and fan base by engaging with the netball and wider community. You’ll support key strategies for member retention and acquisition, game day ticketing, and fan engagement - plus assist with delivering standout member events. 

NSW Swifts Overview: 

The NSW Swifts are one of the most iconic club netball teams globally, with a proud 26-year legacy in Australian sport. Owned by Netball NSW, legends like Liz Ellis, Cath Cox, Laura Langman, and Kim Green have donned the Swifts’ colours. 

Originally the Sydney Swifts, they were a founding team in Australia’s first national league, the Commonwealth Bank Trophy, winning four titles before rebranding in 2008 for the ANZ Championship. They made history by winning the inaugural ANZ title, thrilling fans with a memorable Grand Final win. 

Despite changes over nine ANZ seasons, the Swifts remained a powerhouse, reaching consecutive Grand Finals in 2015 and 2016. In the Suncorp Super Netball era, coach Briony Akle guided the team to Premierships in 2019 and 2021, cementing their place at the top of the sport.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Membership & Ticketing: 

  • Oversee daily operations of the Membership CRM (Archtics), including data cleansing, fulfilment, event setup, and payment plan management.  
  • Act as the primary contact for premium members (e.g. Foundation and Club 97), including member enquiries, delivering solution-focused support and experiences.  
  • Manage and report on rejected payments and lapsed members, ensuring timely follow-up.  
  • Maintain accurate membership data and subscription integrity.  
  • Manage TPF for membership pack fulfilment, ensuring on-time delivery.  
  • Execute outbound campaigns (eDMs, SMS, calls) to drive membership and ticket sales.  
  • Prepare and manage reporting, including sales updates, reconciliations, and payment tracking in collaboration with Ticketmaster and Finance.  
  • Manage stakeholder (e.g commercial partners and board members), including ticket requests and servicing.  
  • Review seating manifests, allocations, and ticket distribution.  
  • Support match day ticket sales strategies alongside Marketing and Consumer Business teams.  
  • Build seasonal ticketing events and implement strategies to drive revenue and attendance.  
  • Manage internal and external ticket requests, including Finals Series ticketing support.  
  • Cleanse and import new data into the membership system efficiently. 

Match Day & Experiences: 

  • Assist the Consumer Business Manager in planning and executing all member-focused events and fan experiences. 
  • Support match day operations, including member servicing, ticketing inquiries, and general fan engagement. 
  • Work out in the community when necessary to support our Fan Engagement program, to promote ticketing, membership and our brand.  
  • Plan and execute experiences & events e.g., Junior Member Clinic, Open Training Sessions, Members Day, Swifts VIP Experiences, Meet and Greets and Post Match Member functions. 
  • Manage/oversee the casual and internship staff program and rostering as well as developing further strategies that continually streamline the systems and processes within the membership department to incorporate best practice. 

What we are looking for:  

We’re seeking a motivated and results-driven individual with the following qualities: 

  • Education: Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing, or communications preferred. 
  • Experience: 2+ years in Membership & Ticketing, ideally in sport. 
  • Sales: Proven ability to meet/exceed sales targets. 
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written skills; confident and articulate. 
  • Performance-Driven: Comfortable working to KPIs and regular reporting. 
  • Tech Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Ticketmaster Archtics or similar CRM systems. 
  • Organisation: Excellent time management and multitasking abilities. 
  • Team Fit: Reliable, adaptable, and customer focused. 
  • Initiative: Proactive, self-motivated, and works well independently or in a team. 
  • Detail-Oriented: Fast learner with strong attention to detail and flexibility.
