East Torrens District Cricket Club, a proud foundation member of South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) Premier/Grade Cricket, is seeking Expressions of Interest for the position of Senior Club Coach.
With a rich history dating back to 1897, the Club has a strong tradition of success and player development, consistently producing First Class and Australian representatives. Each season, the Club fields four senior and six junior teams in SACA Premier Cricket and remains committed to both elite player development and premiership success.
About the Role
The Senior Club Coach will play a key leadership role in driving performance, culture, and development across the senior program, while supporting alignment with the Club’s broader cricket pathway.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and deliver weekly training sessions for the senior squad, in collaboration with grade coaches.
- Attend First Grade matches and lead pre-match preparation, working closely with the captain on match strategy and tactics.
- Promote and uphold strong club values, standards, and discipline across both senior and junior programs.
- Contribute to selection discussions and provide input into squad composition and player development.
- Build strong relationships with junior program leaders to support pathway alignment.
- Attend Club functions, presentations, and key events as a senior representative.

- Strong understanding of Premier/Grade cricket and high-performance pathways.
- Passionate, hands-on coach with a demonstrated commitment to developing emerging talent.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with players, coaches, and stakeholders.
- Plan to mentor assistant coaches and work collaboratively across programs.
- Innovative approach to coaching, with the ability to introduce new ideas and methodologies.
- Established network of specialist coaches and resources across key disciplines.
