The key focus of this position is to oversee the governance, administration, compliance, financial coordination and operational infrastructure of Melbourne University Soccer Club, ensuring that both the Men’s and Women’s programs are professionally supported and aligned with MU Sport and Board requirements.
The position reports to the Club President and works closely with the Club Board and Melbourne University Sport (MU Sport). The position is co-funded by the Club and MU Sport.
Governance & Compliance
Act as primary administrative liaison between MUSC and MU Sport
Support Board governance, AGM preparation, and Consumer Affairs compliance
Assist in preparation of annual reports and required submissions
Ensure compliance with Football Victoria and University requirements
Support OHS compliance and incident reporting processes
Club Administration & Operations
Assist with documenting and publishing board and committee meeting minutes, actions and decisions
Assist with contract and volunteer service agreement administration
Oversee administrative and operational organisation of the Club including fixturing and rostering
Maintain membership records
Manage incoming correspondence from external stakeholders
Coordinate permit and facilities applications in conjunction with Committee of Management
Coordinate external venue hire
Resource & Asset Management
Coordinate acquisition and distribution of equipment, uniforms and consumables
Maintain equipment register and ensure appropriate asset care
Ensure social media team receives up-to-date fixtures, results and announcements
Financial & Commercial Support
Assist servicing of sponsorship agreements and agreed deliverables
Support development of new revenue opportunities (grants, sponsorship, alumni engagement)
Monitor administrative expenditure within approved budgets
