HD Physiotherapy/Physiomedic is seeking passionate Sports Physiotherapists and Sports Trainers/Medics to join our field coverage team for the 2026 winter sports season. This is an exciting opportunity to work hands-on across a variety of elite and community sporting codes, supporting athletes and teams throughout Sydney.
Sports Physiotherapist Role
Requirements:
Relevant Physiotherapy qualification and registration
Strong clinical reasoning and injury management skills
Experience or interest in sports coverage
Understanding of return-to-play protocols
Sports Trainers / Medics Role
Requirements:
First Aid & CPR certification (essential)
Strapping/taping experience highly desirable
Ability to manage acute injuries on field
Confidence in high-pressure situations
Requirements for All Applicants
5-6 month commitment (March–September)
Weekend availability
WWCC
Driver’s license and access to a vehicle
Strong communication and professionalism
Passion for sports and athlete care
Bandaging and dressing basic wounds, managing high-pressure situations, identifying fractures, managing sprains and strains, understanding of concussions, and knowledge of return-to-play rules across Rugby and AFL.
