Description

Help keep some of Stonnington’s most valued community facilities operating at their best. As an Assets and Presentation Officer within our Leisure Services team, you will play an important role in maintaining safe, high-quality aquatic and leisure environments that thousands of community members enjoy every week.

This hands-on position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in operational environments, coordinating maintenance and asset improvements, and ensuring facilities remain reliable, safe and welcoming for staff, members and visitors.

In this role you'll

  • Support the day-to-day upkeep and presentation of Stonnington’s aquatic and leisure facilities
  • Coordinate maintenance activities and improvement works across leisure sites
  • Work closely with contractors and internal teams to support efficient facility operations
  • Monitor the condition of equipment and infrastructure and assist with planning maintenance and renewal activities
  • Contribute to reporting, documentation and operational planning related to facility assets
  • Promote safe work practices and support the management of operational incidents when required
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and the overall presentation of facilities

This role offers a salary of $83,480 - $95,636 per annum, plus 12% superannuation and access to a range of employee benefits, including wellbeing initiatives, professional development and a supportive workplace culture. Some flexibility regarding hours, days and work locations is required.

You are a practical and proactive professional who enjoys working in dynamic operational environments. You take pride in maintaining facilities to a high standard and enjoy collaborating with colleagues and contractors to ensure community spaces operate smoothly.

You will bring:

  • Experience working in facility operations, asset maintenance or building services, ideally within aquatic or leisure environments
  • Knowledge of plant systems, maintenance practices or facility infrastructure
  • Ability to coordinate contractors and manage maintenance activities across operational facilities
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent communication skills when working with colleagues, contractors and the community
  • A proactive approach to safety, compliance and continuous improvement

Qualifications such as an Aquatic Technical Operator certificate, First Aid certification or a plumbing or electrical background will be highly regarded.
