About the role
We are seeking driven and target-focused a Membership Sales Representative (full time, fixed-term, 8 months) to join our broader Consumer Team dedicated to providing best in class service and support to our new and existing membership base.
While this begins as a fixed term role, we are hopeful a permanent future role may be possible.
The role’s key focus will be executing the club’s membership sales campaigns and converting leads into members, upgrading existing memberships and driving revenue through outbound and inbound calls. You will be responsible for achieving daily sales targets, actively prospecting new members, re-engaging lapsed supporters and maximising every conversation through confident, consultative selling techniques - while still delivering an exceptional supporter experience.
The Membership Sales Representative will be required to work both as part of the team and autonomously.
About you
You have a relentless drive to create leads and maximise sales conversions. You’re passionate about working in an energetic sales environment, with a genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer service and being a team player. A fast-paced environment is where you thrive, and your can-do attitude coupled with a goal-oriented mindset will see you succeed in this role. Your proactive mindset, energy and team-first approach sets you up for success in this role.
You have a genuine passion for footy and can hold an engaging conversation with our most passionate supporters. You don’t back down from a challenge and have the resilience to ride the highs and lows of the footy season while maintaining positivity and enthusiasm.
What you need
- 1-2 years’ experience in a B2C sales or membership sales role, ideally within a call centre or high-volume environment
- Demonstrated success in a target-driven sales role
- Strong objection-handling and closing skills
- Strong work ethic and desire to succeed
- Exceptional written and spoken customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- High energy and outgoing personality
- Experience in Archtics highly advantageous (please mention this in your cover letter if you do)
- Working with Children's Check or willingness to get one.
