Join the team at Macquarie University Sport and Aquatic Centre (MUSAC) as an Administration Officer, providing essential administrative support that helps deliver a high-quality experience for members, guests and staff. In this varied role, you will assist with member enquiries, financial transactions, data reporting and operational administration in a busy and vibrant environment.
THE ROLE
Our administrative team is a key function within our centre. As our Administration Officer you will:
- Respond to member queries and complaints including but not limited to memberships, billing matters, government vouchers and health fund receipts.
- Process a variety of financial transactions ensuring currency, compliance and accuracy.
- Process and report on membership data, venue utilisation and visitation statistics.
- Contribute to administrative process improvements and projects.
- Administer inventory and supplies, including uniforms and stationery.
- Provide confidential support to the MUSAC team as and when required.
ABOUT YOU (SELECTION CRITERIA)
To be successful in this role you need to have:
- Previous experience in an administration or customer service role,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
- Demonstrated skill and experience in Microsoft Office applications including database management,
- Strong data analytical skills,
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills,
- Excellent attention to detail,
- Working knowledge of Envibe CRM (highly advantageous)
Note: This role requires a criminal history check, a current First Aid and CPR certificate.

Macquarie University Sport and Aquatic Centre (MUSAC) is a multi-purpose venue designed to help meet all the health, fitness and sporting needs of our members and guests. Our facilities include a 6-lane heated indoor pool, and an 8-lane outdoor heated Olympic-sized swimming pool. The centre features a fully equipped health club, group fitness classes, squash courts, gymnastics / aquatics programs and social sports.
Macquarie University Sport Fields operates 7 days a week, our facilities include 5 professional playing fields which accommodates a variety of events, stadium lighting, canteen and BBQ areas, and change rooms.
