About the team – The AIS HP Coach Development team is responsible for working with the HP system to build the capacity and capability of the HP Coach workforce to ensure that Australia is positioned to meet the current and future needs of high-performance sport.
About the role – The HP Coach Development Advisor supports the delivery of programs and initiatives identified within the HP Coach Development Strategy, by providing high-quality technical, operational, and strategic advice to the HP Coach Development Branch. This will include undertaking strategically identified projects, and provide business, financial, reporting, and logistical support to ensure the Branch operates efficiently and effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
About you – The successful candidate will have:
- Direct experience in high-performance sport environments.
- Experience providing high-quality strategic, policy or business advice within a HP setting
- Experience in program or project delivery, including planning, coordination, monitoring and evaluation
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills,
- Understanding of the Australian high-performance sport system
- Experience in business and financial management and applying governance, risk and assurance processes
