Caboolture Sports Football Club is one of Queensland’s most inclusive and dynamic clubs, delivering football programs from MiniRoos through to Community Juniors, Seniors, and Masters. As Football Operations Manager - Community Football, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our community football programs run efficiently, professionally, and sustainably, while also driving engagement and new participation opportunities across the region.
About the role
This role is responsible for the end-to-end operational management of community football at CSFC. You’ll oversee the structure, planning, and delivery of our football programs, ensuring a seamless experience for players, parents, coaches, volunteers, and stakeholders.
Beyond day-to-day operations, you’ll actively identify and develop new football participation and revenue opportunities, working closely with the club’s leadership team to grow engagement programs.
This role is focused on the operations, administration, and management of community football programs. It is ideal for someone looking to build or progress a career in football operations and club management.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and manage the operational delivery of all community football programs, from MiniRoos through to Junior, Senior, and Masters football.
- Develop clear structures, processes, and workflows to ensure efficient, well-run football operations across the club.
- Oversee matchday operations, ensuring competitions run smoothly, professionally, and consistently.
- Act as a key point of contact for players, parents, coaches, volunteers, and external stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to keep our football operations aligned and efficient.
- Drive participation growth by developing and managing community-based football initiatives and programs.
- Identify and support new business and engagement opportunities through football-focused activities and partnerships.
- Support the delivery of community engagement events on behalf of CSFC.
- Lead, support, and empower volunteers and program team members to deliver high-quality football experiences.
- Assist with the delivery of community engagement events on behalf of CSFC.
About you:
- You’re organised, energetic, and love working with people and in a community-focused sporting environment.
- You have a strong understanding of football operations (or sport management in general), and you know how to make things happen, from game day logistics to community outreach.
- You’re also a natural communicator who can bring people together and keep things running seamlessly behind the scenes.
You’ll bring:
- Experience in sport operations, community sport management, or a similar role.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Confidence leading and supporting a team of volunteers and program team members.
- A genuine passion for community football and player development.
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings during the football season.
- Currently hold, or be eligible to hold, a Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
- Sports Management/Administration Degree.
- FA Coaching License (C/B/A) is desirable but not essential
- Demonstrated experience working in a football club.
