Basketball ACT is seeking a driven and experienced Performance Pathway Lead (Men) to lead and deliver our male athlete development pathway. About the Role
Reporting to the Performance Pathway Manager, you will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of the male performance pathway across U12–U18 Canberra programs and U16–U20/Ivor Burge Territory programs, including development and emerging talent initiatives.
You will:
Oversee talent identification, trials and selection processes
Develop and support individual athlete development plans
Mentor and collaborate with coaches and team managers
Align programs with Basketball Australia and BACT frameworks
Foster strong communication with athletes, parents, clubs and stakeholders
Promote “The ACT Way” across all pathway programs
This role plays a key part in building a cohesive, inclusive and high-performing culture within Basketball ACT.
About You
You will bring:
Experience in athlete development within basketball or a similar sport
Strong understanding of male athlete development pathways
Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
A collaborative and solutions-focused approach
You will also hold;
Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) Check
Senior First Aid Certificate
Current Basketball Coaching Accreditation
