The Performance Hub is not a normal gym.
We’re an independent training studio in Ringwood built for people who don’t like gyms - especially adults 40+ who want to get strong, confident, and capable without feeling judged, intimidated, or broken.
Our clients aren’t here to chase six-packs. They’re here to:
- Get out of pain
- Feel capable again
- Build strength for life
- And be part of a genuinely supportive community
We believe:
- Movement is medicine
- Coaching matters more than equipment
- Consistency beats intensity
- And the relationship always comes before the program
We run:
- Small Group Personal Training
- Semi-Private Training
- Limited 1:1 and rehab-style support
- Youth Athlete Training
We’re proud of the culture here. It’s warm, human, and standards-driven. People stay for years. Coaches build real relationships. You’ll love this role if you believe everyday people deserve elite-level care, coaching, and attention.
About this Opportunity
We’re looking for a coach who:
- Cares deeply about the person in front of them
- Takes pride in their craft
- Wants to make a real difference in people’s lives
- And wants to be part of something bigger than just “running sessions”
You’ll report directly to the owner (Max) and work closely with our Head Coach.
This is a hands-on coaching role with real responsibility, real standards, and real impact.
We’re not looking for a “fill-in” or a stopgap. We’re building the next version of the team.
Our Mission and Values
We’re on a mission to give everyday people the best chance to build a strong, confident, capable body - and a better life around it.
Our values in practice:
- People first, always
- Care beats clever
- Simple, done well
- High standards, no ego
We don’t tolerate:
- Ego coaching
- Phone-scrolling trainers
- Cookie-cutter programming
- Treating clients like numbers
Our Ideal Candidate

- Want to get better at coaching
- Be reliable, present, and professional
- Take pride in doing the basics well
- And want to build something, not just “work shifts”
