Melbourne Grammar School is seeking experienced 1st XI Hockey Coach for 2026 to join our Senior School Sports Program. 

Hockey has a long tradition of being a successful and highly competitive sport at Melbourne Grammar School. The School prides itself on providing a comprehensive Sport Program that maintains a balance between life at the School and sporting commitments. Students at all levels are encouraged to perform to the best of their ability and enjoy what the sport of Hockey has to offer at secondary school and beyond.

The role of 1st XI Hockey Coach is to execute the planning and coaching of the 1st XI Hockey team. This role has responsibility for the implementation of training, game strategy, match day and the welfare and development of senior players. Working in collaboration with the Assistant coaches and team manager, the 1st XI Hockey Coach is responsible for the day-to-day management of the players and all elements directly associated with the coaching of the 1st XI.

You will have:

  • Proven experience in the delivery of a Hockey program
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Well developed time management and organisational skills

Please note, Melbourne Grammar staff must hold or be able to obtain a valid Working with Children Check
