ABOUT THE ROLE

The Club is looking to appoint 3-4 casual Retail Assistants to support our Demon Shop. The role will play a central role in consistently providing premium customer service and delivering in-depth information about our products, whilst always operating as a brand ambassador for the Melbourne Football Club.  

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Reporting directly to the Retail Manager, the key areas of responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Delivering premium customer service
  • Building and maintaining an expert level of product knowledge
  • Replenishing stock on shop floor
  • Maintaining visual merchandising standards in store
  • Assisting the store to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
  • Point of sale on game days (POS system)
  • Assisting Retail Manager with generating purchase orders
  • Stocktake and auditing to ensure accuracy in our product levels

The successful candidate for this role will possess the following:

  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills;
  • At least 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service position preferably in the retail industry;
  • Ability to provide accurate service in a timely manner to customers;
  • Possess strong attention to detail and;
  • Ability and initiative to work efficiently and pro-actively, either autonomously or in a team.

You will have a positive, outgoing and energetic approach to work and with a passion for the Melbourne Football Club brand. You will need to be available to work as required including nights, weekends, public holidays and Melbourne Football Club home games (including Casey Fields).

Essential Requirements

  • Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check
  • Drivers Licence
