Haileybury welcomes applications for the role of Administration Officer to join our Sport Department. This is a full-time, ongoing (1.0 FTE) position commencing as soon as possible; however, part-time arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.
The Administration Officer will play a key role in providing comprehensive administrative and operational support to the School Sports Department, ensuring the efficient delivery of the School’s sporting programs and services. The Sport Administration team supports multiple facets of the Haileybury Sport program however this role will be aligned to support specific portfolios within the Haileybury’s Sport structure.
Key Responsibilities
As the Sport Administration Officer, you will:
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Haileybury Sport Department, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and correspondence.
- Support Heads of Sport in the planning, coordination, and delivery of sport-specific programs and seasonal activities aligned with the Haileybury Sport Strategy.
- Assist with the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of departmental strategic initiatives and improvement projects.
- Coordinate the organization and logistics of sporting events, competitions, carnivals, tours, and training schedules across the Haileybury sports program.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, databases, and participation data for students, teams, fixtures and results.
- Prepare reports, documentation and presentations to support program planning, evaluation, and strategic reporting.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as required.
- Provide administrative support to the Head of Sports Operations, including facilities bookings and logistical coordination across Haileybury campuses.
- Ensure all sport-related communications and information are accurate, current, and aligned with Haileybury branding and communication standards.
- Assist with risk management, consent documentation, and compliance processes associated with sporting activities.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Sports Department Manager.
