Description

Join us and build a legacy, together

In just five short months, we are proud of what we’ve achieved and excited for what’s next. What we’re most proud of is the community we’re building, the connections we’re making, and the culture we’re creating.

In our inaugural year, we launched Charging Forward - our first strengths-based, off-field leadership program, and a first for community football clubs. This program has brought together our player leaders, coaches, and committee to understand their individual and collective strengths, align on our purpose, and keep building our leadership strengths that will deliver the future.

Charging Forward is more than a program - it’s the foundation for how we lead, connect, and grow. It’s also the first step in co-creating our three-year strategy, a roadmap that will shape not just what we do on the field, but the culture, opportunities, and legacy we are creating.

With our community’s input, this strategy will ensure the Port Melbourne Chargers is a premier destination for women’s football - a club known for excellence, innovation, and community engagement - while remaining deeply committed to elevating women in sport and creating lasting change.

Both our teams made finals - a testament to the commitment, hard work, and belief shown especiall by our coaches and players, but also our committee and community. The feedback from our players and community has been simply amazing.

From day one, we have stayed true to our vision and mission: to build a legacy that will inspire change, elevate women in sport, and make a lasting impact.

And the best part? We are only just beginning - as our teams head into finals, it’s time to ramp up our off-field planning and support. With just 240 days til round one in 2026, the countdown is on - and now is the time to get involved.

If you share our vision, mission and values we would love to hear from you. Community, Integrity, Passion, Respect, Excellence are not just words on a page, they are how we are making a real difference and central to all that we do.
