Senior Program
Assistant Coach - Premier League 1 Women
Head Coaches - Premier League Divisional Teams (PL2, PL3, DP teams)
Junior Program
JT1 Head Coach
Junior Turf Coaches (various teams)
Season Details
Start Date: Trials begin Feb 2026 Payment: Negotiated based on qualifications and experience
Requirements:
Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
Formal coaching qualifications
Availability for two training sessions per week + weekend games
Position Description (All Roles)
Coaches at Norths play a critical leadership role in fostering a positive and safe performance environment across both senior and junior programs. Key responsibilities include:
Coaching & Leadership
Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate training sessions
Foster a positive team culture grounded in respect, effort, and growth
Work collaboratively with the Club and coaches to ensure aligned coaching practices
Team Management
Build a strong working relationship with the Team Manager for communication, coordination and player wellbeing
Support player availability, game management processes and match preparation
Support leadership within the playing group
Player Pathway & Development
Create a training environment that prioritises improvement of core skills, game literacy and decision-making
Equip players with the mindset and behaviours needed to be successful at their level of hockey
Respect players providing a safe and inclusive environment
Club Engagement
Actively contribute to the club’s inclusive culture
