Description
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join Croquet Australia (CA) as Pathways and Administration Coordinator. This position will play a major role in supporting CA development pathways for players, coaches and officials within the sport.
The role will support the Academy Committee in the creation and promotion of development resources to provide participants with educational opportunities that foster growth in the sport. Additionally, the role will collaborate with other committees to ensure effective communication and consultation with related parties to deliver best outcomes in developing these resources.
The successful candidate will have prior experience in developing sporting pathway programs, and will be a key in supporting the implementation of these initiatives within the sport. The position may also be required to support the General Manager and National Operations Manager roles in providing services to our State members.

The position is part-time, 15 hours per week, offered as a six-month term with potential to extend. The role is a work-from-home position, with location flexible.
About the Role
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
Pathways Development
- Provide administrative and organisational support to the Academy Committee and other committees involved in the process of developing educational resources and development frameworks for participants.
- Contribute to the development of learning resources, presentations and modules for players, officials and coaches
Committee Support
- Work with committees to support the development of initiative and resources focussed on development of players, officials and coaches
- Co-ordinate meetings, workshops and events aimed at promoting the pathway and educational opportunities
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with committee members and state officials.
About You
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in developing pathway frameworks for players, coaches and officials in a sporting environment
- Experience with development and maintenance of Learning Management Systems
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Experience working with committees or volunteer-based organisations
- Knowledge of current trends in sport development and education
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively towards shared outcomes.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a small team, with limited supervision, across multiple tasks
- Digital literacy with experience across Microsoft365 suite.
- Passion for education and development within sport at all levels.
- Current Working with Children Card or State equivalent and National Police Clearance
Desirable:
- Knowledge and experience with the sport of Croquet
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms for content creation and communications.
- Ability to work evenings and on weekends if required.
