NSW Rugby Union is seeking an energetic and community-minded Rugby Development Officer to help grow the game across the Far North Coast. This role is central to increasing participation by supporting clubs, schools, coaches, match officials and volunteers, while delivering high-quality recruitment, retention and development programs.
Working closely with the Regional Manager - Northern NSW, the Far North Coast Zone Manager and other Nothern NSW Development Staff, you will plan and deliver school and club-based rugby programs, create meaningful community partnerships, implement new participation opportunities, and strengthen connections between schools and local junior clubs. You will also contribute to coach and match official development, support Positive Rugby Foundation initiatives, and manage a small team of casual development staff.
Success in this role will see more young people playing and staying in rugby, improved coaching and training environments, greater school engagement, and stronger grassroots rugby communities. This is an ideal opportunity for someone passionate about community sport, relationship-building, and making a genuine impact across a thriving regional rugby network.
