Deliver content at speed during live events, including rapid-turnaround edits and timely publishing during key moments.
Play an active role in content planning by generating creative ideas and identifying storytelling opportunities around Rugby Australia’s athletes, teams, and competitions.
Use data, insights, and reporting to guide creative decisions and ensure content supports broader business objectives.
Build strong and productive relationships with key stakeholders, including high-performance staff and athletes.
Collaborate with internal content, communications, partnerships and marketing teams, and commercial partners to deliver content that drives fan engagement and brand visibility.
Manage content workflows, calendars, and asset libraries to ensure efficient planning and delivery.
Source and integrate archival footage from Rugby Australia’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, and other similar platforms.
Ensure all produced content aligns with Rugby Australia’s brand guidelines and compliance requirements for commercial partners and broadcast restrictions.
What we’re looking for:

Advanced technical skills in end-to-end content production, including camera operation (Sony FX6, A7 or similar), lighting, audio, and post-production (editing, grading, motion graphics).
Proven ability to craft engaging narratives that drive reach and engagement across digital platforms.
Ability to operate independently and effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, particularly during live events.
Strong organisational, communication, and project management skills.
A collaborative mindset and ability to work confidently within high-performance team environments.
Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and extended tours
