- Salary from: $77,542 to $92,588 per annum + 12% superannuation + $1,000 pa transport allowance

The role
We are currently seeking three (3) full-time Senior Customer Service Officers to join the newly redeveloped North Sydney Olympic Pool team. In this frontline role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, responsive, and accurate information to the North Sydney community—enhancing customer satisfaction, supporting increased visitation, and contributing to a positive and memorable customer experience. The successful applicant will be the primary point of contact for all telephone, face-to-face and email enquiries.
As a Senior Customer Service Officer, you will also play a key role in mentoring and training part-time Customer Service Officers, while assisting the Coordinator Administration and Customer Service in delivering efficient business operations and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and Council policies.

Essential Criteria
- Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced customer service environment with a passion and commitment to providing friendly and welcoming service standards.
- Previous experience training, coaching, and mentoring other staff to deliver best practice customer service standards.
- A high level of interpersonal skills, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Demonstrated high level administration and organisation skills, including use of Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams).
- Experience wit Point-of-Sale systems, day-to-day book-keeping, financial procedures, end-of-day banking and stocktake processes.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Be able to satisfy the requirements of the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012 and Child Protection (Working with Children) Regulations 2013 and provide a current NSW Working with Children Check clearance; and adhere to Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
- Must be eligible to work in Australia and receive clearance from a pre-employment medical assessment.
- National Criminal Records Check clearance.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience using computerised POS leisure management systems
- Additional experience or qualifications in the leisure industry, such as certifications in swim teaching, fitness, lifeguard or creche.
- Flexibility to work across a seven (7) days week operation with morning shifts starting from 5:00am and closing shifts finishing at 9:30pm
- Experience and knowledge of Local Government practices, regulations and policies
- Vaccinated against COVID-19
