Program: Warringah Ratettes – Defending Chikarovski Cup Premiers
About the Opportunity
Join the defending Chikarovski Cup Premiers as the Warringah Ratettes continue to build one of Sydney’s leading Women’s Rugby programs. The 2026 season marks a major step forward with the integration of junior pathways and the launch of a 2nd Division side - a critical part of our long-term vision for sustained success.
Women’s Rugby is one of the fastest-growing segments of the sport, and the Ratettes have been at the forefront of its evolution. The program boasts a proud history - winning nearly one-third of all NSW Women’s Competitions and competing in over half of all Grand Finals. Our program has produced numerous Wallaroos, Aussie 7s, and NRLW representatives.
The next phase of our journey focuses on seamless player development through a new Juniors–Colts–Grade-style pathway, designed to strengthen transitions between levels and elevate the standard of play across all grades. As part of this system, our Assistant Coach will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of Ratettes talent.
The Club and Board are fully supportive and deeply invested in the continued growth of Women’s Rugby at Warringah. This position offers not only the chance to contribute to a premier program but also a clear coaching development pathway for those seeking to advance their professional careers.
