All Hallows’ School, a Catholic Mercy school for girls from Years 5–12, is excited to be expanding our Sport Department team. We are seeking an experienced Program Director – Water Polo (Development) to lead our All Hallows’ Water Polo program alongside our Program Director – Water Polo (Operations). As a proven leader with experience in establishing and growing successful Water Polo programs, you will have a deep understanding of player development pathways, from beginner to high-performance levels, and a passion for providing opportunities for students to grow and develop.
Working under the direction of the Head of Sport, as the Program Director – Water Polo (Development), you will provide strategic leadership and hands-on management of the School’s Water Polo program with a focus on designing and implementing player, coach, and whole of program development initiatives from our grassroots participation through to our high-performance tournament programs. You will also have the opportunity to take on an active coaching role within the School’s Water Polo program. In the role, you will lead and mentor an extensive team of coaches, officials and volunteers within our Water Polo program, fostering a positive, inclusive and high-performance environment which caters for all students.
Your leadership skills will be matched by your ability to work collaboratively with key Sport staff to manage the day-to-day operations of a large water polo program. The successful applicant will be an excellent communicator who has the ability to establish and maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with students, colleagues, and the wider school community, and is aligned to the School’s commitment to provide high-quality sport programs which support the overall wellbeing of our students.
This role is a full-time, permanent position which requires availability for early mornings, afternoons and weekends to support the operational needs of the School’s sport program. The distribution of hours will be determined by the Head of Sport in consultation with the successful applicant.
Role Requirements
- Hold and maintain a current Queensland Working with Children Clearance (Blue Card).
- Have approval to work in Australia.
- Have or maintain the appropriate clearances, qualifications or registrations required to perform the inherent functions of the role.
