Tamworth Pirates Rugby Football Club is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Second Grade Coach to lead our squad into the 2026 season. This volunteer role is vital to maintaining depth, developing emerging players, and strengthening the overall club pathway.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver Tuesday & Thursday evening training sessions throughout the pre-season and season.
Lead team selection, game-day management, and performance reviews.
Work collaboratively with the Club Head Coach and First Grade Coach to align game style and training structures.
Support player transitions between grades and ensure inclusivity and development.
Engage with the Northern Suburbs Rugby Union Club to support ongoing coaching growth and shared learning.

Qualifications & Experience
Essential: Smart Rugby accreditation; Community Coaching Certification (Level 2) or equivalent.
Desirable: Experience coaching senior club rugby.
Must be willing to participate in coaching upskilling and development opportunities.
