The Canberra Raiders Marketing Coordinator is a position within the Raiders Communications and Marketing team to assist in planning, delivering, and evaluating appealing and effective marketing campaigns that promote Raider’s products and services to contribute to the growth of Raiders consumer business and club brand.
REPORTS TO: Head of Communications & Marketing
HOURS: Fulltime, including match days and events as required.
LOCATION: Canberra Raiders Centre, 14 Torrens Street Braddon ACT 2612
QUALIFICATION/ EXPERIENCE/ ABILITIES:
Experience in Marketing and/or Sports.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite of Products and social / email platforms.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to use initiative and solve problems within a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work both within a team, other club departments and independently.
Confident, enthusiastic, and professionally presented.
Adaptability - desire and openness to learning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working with Head of Communications and Marketing to ensure campaigns across club departments are planned, developed, executed and evaluated.
Ensuring campaign activities for Raiders’ business units according to other partners (e.g., NRL) are delivered through the club’s communications and marketing plan.
Set up and schedule campaign creative on associated web, social media, EDM and other digital channels.
Collating and distributing marketing collateral as required.
Writing, editing, proofreading, and formatting copy.
Monitoring publication production timelines.
Supporting marketing research and analysis activities.
Assist with reporting and other project/tasks as required.
OTHER:
Proficient in use of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Premier Pro) not essential but desired.
Ability and desire to assist other Departments in time of need and/or Game Days and Events.
