Founded in 1946, we are affiliated with the Essendon District Football League (EDFL) and have a strong history of success, winning 14 senior premierships, including 4 in Premier Division.
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Strength & Conditioning Coach to join our football department for the 2026 season.
This is a paid role ideal for someone passionate about athlete development and looking to grow their experience within a senior football environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver warm-up and cool-down programs for all training sessions (in-season & pre-season)
Liaise closely with the club’s off-site Physiotherapist to ensure smooth and consistent rehab programming for injured players
Monitor and support individual player development, fitness and return-to-play progress
Work collaboratively with coaches and medical staff to maintain high performance and player welfare standards
Requirements:
Strong communication and planning skills
Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Previous football club or sporting team experience preferred (not essential)
Currently studying or completed a Bachelor of Sports Science (or equivalent) (not essential)
