A confident all-rounder is required for this position which offers loads of diversity and promises never a dull moment. We need someone who has a range of skills who can support our small, busy & dynamic office team. We are a community sporting body, serving a big volunteer & customer base.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as join into team projects when required. You’ll need to be flexible towards your workload management and be able to pivot as required. You must have a can-do attitude and be able to manage competing priorities and often pressing deadlines.
Work Days & Hours
Normal workdays are Monday to Friday with some flexibility, after consultation to fit in a 30 hour work week. There is also a requirement to work some days during our summer football period (September to December) where your shift may run from 2-9pm. This will be pre-arranged with your immediate supervisor, however, if you know in advance that you can’t manage these flexible hours, we ask respectfully that you do not apply for the position, as this requirement is non-negotiable. Also important to note that you’ll be working for a community sports organisation. Community sport is played outside of regular business hours, so the very nature of your role will see you working with community volunteers and amateur athletes, therefore, some out of hours and weekend work will be required from time to time.
