About the Club
Manly Savers Rugby Club is based at Keirle Park on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. The club has built a reputation for on-field success and strong culture, with our senior program reaching three grand finals in the past four seasons. In the clubs proud 118 year history we have won 26 Premierships and aim to continue this success into the future. We are proud of our ability to combine performance with a welcoming and community-driven rugby environment.
Our rugby pathway is growing strongly, with 270 players in our junior program (U13 - U18 boys and girls). Developing links between our juniors, colts, women’s, and seniors is a key focus for the club.
About the Roles - 2026 Season
We are seeking Expressions of Interest for:
- Head of Colts (U21s)
- Head of Women’s Rugby
Both roles are central to the club’s player pathways and future success. Key responsibilities include:
- Player Recruitment – actively recruit and attract new players to the club.
- Player Development – provide a clear pathway into senior rugby, supporting growth in skills, fitness, and rugby knowledge.
- Player Retention – build a strong and enjoyable culture that keeps players engaged.
- Junior Collaboration – work with the Manly Savers junior program (270 players, U13–U18) to build pathways into colts, women’s, and senior rugby.
- Game Day Leadership – manage squad selections and matchday operations to ensure professionalism and competitiveness.
- Pathway Management – collaborate with local premier rugby clubs in Manly to manage dual registration opportunities and player development.
- Culture Building – foster an environment that is competitive, inclusive, and reflective of the club’s values in collobaration with the senior program.
Both roles report directly to the Director of Rugby, who will provide support and resources where necessary.
What We Are Looking For
We seek rugby leaders who can:
- Recruit and retain players.
- Build strong links between juniors, colts/women’s, and seniors.
- Inspire and motivate players to perform at a high level.
- Establish and maintain positive team culture.
- Collaborate effectively with players, volunteers, and local rugby partners.
- Excellent rugby coaching or team management experience.
- Hold a World Rugby Level 2 Coaching Accreditation (desirable not neccessary).
