Do you love football, live events, and delivering great fan experiences? Melbourne City FC is looking for enthusiastic and reliable people to join our Match Day Crew for the 2025/26 A-League Men & Women seasons.

Our workforce is the most important behind-the-scenes team that help deliver fun, engaging and successful game day and events experience possible for our Melbourne City FC members and fans.   

We have several opportunities available across 2 key areas - whether you’re passionate about customer service in retail, membership sales and operations, or behind-the-scenes stadium operations, there’s a role for you!

Melbourne City FC is part of City Football Group and competes in the major Australian domestic football competitions, the A-League Men and A-League Women.

The Jobs

  1. Customer Service Assistants - Customer Service Assistants support the delivery of a gold-class match day experience for members and fans. The role focuses on providing exceptional service across retail, membership sales, and membership premium hosting – duties include:-
    • Retail Sales Assistants - maximise merchandise sales across outlets and vans, support set-up and pack-down, keep outlets stocked and professionally presented, and deliver great customer service.
    • Membership Sales Assistants - promote and sell membership packages, assist with enquiries, process transactions, and support member engagement across match days and events.
    • Membership Hosts (Family Lounge & CityClass+) - ensure premium membership areas are operationally set up to a high standard, welcome members and guests, and provide a friendly and professional match day experience.
  2. Stadium & Activations Crew - Assist with stadium operations to set up & pack down facilities, signage & fan zones.
  3. Stadium & Activations Lead - Supervise crew & activations, ensuring safe, smooth delivery.

All positions are offered on a casual basis for the 2025-26 A-League season.

What We’re Looking For

  • Enthusiastic, approachable, and professional individuals.
  • Reliable and flexible, with availability on weekends and evenings.
  • Customer service or retail experience preferred.
  • Operations roles – experience in events preferred (not essential).
  • Physically capable of manual duties, including lifting, moving and carrying.
  • Leadership skills/experience (for the Stadium Lead role).
  • Minimum age: 18, with Working With Children Check and Police Check  (or willingness to obtain).
