About the Role
We are looking for casual Leisure Attendants to fulfill the Learn to Swim role. Our Learn to Swim program is designed to help children learn crucial water safety skills over 11 levels catering for children for children as young as 6 months up to 17 years of age. Responsibilities include:
- Provide a safe, fun, and educational environment for students, adhering to all WHS legislation and workplace policy instructions
- Deliver professional instructions and determine students' competency and skill levels, and motivate them to progress through the learning stages
- Complete required administration tasks and maintain accurate records related to the swimming program and student progress

About You
To be successful in the position, you will have:
- Current AUSTSWIM, Royal Life Saving Society Australia or Swimming Australia Certificate - Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety (or equivalent)
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Award or RLSSA Pool Lifeguard Award (CPR)
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with a range of ages from infants to young adults, with the ability to communicate and interact with students with a range of needs and abilities. You will be enthusiastic, have great customer service skills and possess a passion for teaching water safety skills.
Applicants who progress to pre-employment checks may be required to undergo a Working with Children Check Verification, National Criminal History Check, Qualification Check, Work Rights Verification, Reference Checks and Medical (Low Risk, Medium Risk, High Risk). Employment is subject to satisfactory outcomes for all required checks.
