Melbourne Centre for Athletic Performance is a high performance facility that offers physiotherapy, remedial massage, myotherapy, podiatry, dietician as well strength and conditioning. Our mission is to provide high quality services to the local community. However, specialising in those training at the elite competitive level as well as young and developing athletes.
As the High Performance Manager, you will help design the boys strength and conditioning program in collaboration with the MCAP High Performance Team. Your role will involve collaborating closely with football coaches, medical staff, and the broader support team to ensure the holistic development and preparation of athletes.
Outside of commitments, you will also work at MCAP’s elite training facility, where you will continue your professional development in strength and conditioning, testing, and athlete management across a wide range of sporting populations.
You will report directly to the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, High Performance Manager, and Operations Manager at MCAP.

Role:
- Design and implement strength and power programs for elite and emerging athletes
- Facilitate outdoor conditioning sessions as required
- Assist in the implementation of rehabilitation programs whilst working closely with our physiotherapists, podiatrists and surgeons.
Criteria:
- Bachelor Exercise Science or similar degree. Masters in Strength and Conditioning desirable.
- Human Movement / Coaching / Exercise / Sports Science Degree
- Qualified Strength & Conditioning Coach
- Minimum 2 years previous experience conditioning both emerging and elite athletes/teams.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills & the ability to build strong relationships.
Hours Required:

- Monday- Thursday 4pm-8pm
- Saturday or Sunday
