As the national governing body, Basketball Australia (BA), in conjunction with our State & Territory member associations, is at the forefront of promoting, fostering, and developing the sport of basketball across the country. BA is responsible for safeguarding the sport in Australia.

BA proudly manages Australian national teams (Boomers & Opals, Rollers & Gliders, men’s and women’s 3x3 and junior national teams), athlete pathways, the Centre of Excellence facility, national championship events, major international events and leads community programs for the good of the whole sport.

Commercial Partnerships Coordinator
Are you highly organised, people-focused, and love making things happen?
Basketball Australia is looking for a Commercial Partnerships Coordinator, to play a key role in activating, delivering genuine value to our partners and driving the success of our commercial programs.
In this dynamic and operational role you will be coordinating the administration requirements, keeping an eye on project deliverables of sponsorship servicing, coordinating logistics, and undertaking standard reporting, you’ll keep everything running smoothly while building great connections across the sport.
You will communicate effectively, efficiently and widely to make sure deliverables are on time, keeping all internal and external stakeholders up to speed and ensure your relationships thrive through a true customer focussed mindset.
You will also be needed to play a face-to-face role with our partners at events, activating plans and providing professional and positive customer service.
This is a full-time position, based at our Melbourne Office, State Basketball Centre, Wantirna South.
What you’ll do:
- Coordinate administration of commercial campaigns, activations, and collateral.
- Develop and implement project spreadsheet to ensure processes, and reporting are on track.
- Coordinate logistics, operational requirements and partner and BA collateral for events or activations
- Support event activations and activities as required
- Support partner presentations, renewals, and fan engagement initiatives
What we’re looking for:
- A natural organiser with strong admin and multitasking skills.
- Great and confident communicator with a customer-first approach.
- Some experience in partnerships, sponsorship, or commercial operations (sport industry experience is a plus).
- Tech savvy, team-minded, and solutions-focused.
- Someone who thrives under pressure and enjoys making an impact.
