  • Permanent Full Time | $73,086 package (including 12% super & 17.5% leave loading)

Certified Agreement is currently underway, with a proposed 6.5% increase in 2025.

Why You’ll Love This Role
As Head Swim Coach and Program Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of swimming development in Noosa, designing and delivering programs that span every level of the sport. You’ll:

  • Lead and mentor a talented coaching team.
  • Build a culture of excellence that supports health and wellbeing, nurtures talent, and drives results.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with SwimAus High Performance, leveraging sport science and sport medicine support to maximise program outcomes.
  • Collaborate with facility management, staff, families, and key stakeholders to ensure every athlete feels supported and the NAC program thrives.

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a coach who is:

  • Proven – at least 5 years’ experience coaching at state/national level and an understanding of a multidisciplined swim coaching program.
  • Qualified – SwimAUS Accredited Coaching Certificate (or international equivalent), Senior First Aid, and a current Blue Card.
  • Skilled – strong technical knowledge of strokes, training methodologies, and competition strategies, plus physiological and psychological needs of athletes.
  • Leader & Mentor – strong leadership with experience in developing athletes and assistant coaches, with the ability to foster a positive and supportive culture, from grassroots through to high-performance.
  • Flexible & Committed – A values-based, team orientated approach with a willingness to work with a variety of stakeholders, with the adaptability to work varying hours, including weekends, and travel with teams and athletes for competitions.

Additional qualifications in Austswim, aquatic coaching, strength & conditioning, or sports science will be highly regarded.
