Description

Are you ready to make a difference while being part of one of Australia's most inspiring charity events? The MS Gong Ride is a legendary cycling event from Sydney to Wollongong that raises vital funds to support people living with multiple sclerosis, and we couldn’t do it without the support of our amazing volunteers.

MS Plus is one of Australia’s leading providers of support for people living with multiple sclerosis and other neurological conditions. For nearly 70 years, we’ve offered expert guidance on living well with MS, delivering emotional and practical support through allied health, employment and NDIS services, wellbeing programs, and peer support.

We’re seeking Rest Site Assistants to support the MS Gong Ride on Sunday 2 November 2025.

Support the operation of a rest site along the course by assisting with setup, replenishing water, cheering on riders, and helping create a welcoming and energetic atmosphere for participants to recharge before continuing their ride.

We’re looking for volunteers who:

  • Are positive and energetic
  • Are able to stand or sit outdoors for periods of time
  • Are reliable

In particular, we're looking for course marshals at the following locations: Waterfall Public School, Red Cedar Flats and Scarborough Public School. If you live near one of these locations, are looking to give back, meet likeminded people, gain new skills and would like to help keep our event running safely and smoothly, we'd love to have you on the team!

Help us create a memorable and successful MS Gong Ride and support Australians living with multiple sclerosis by applying today.
